About the Closure
1. What is happening to Credit Hero Club?
Credit Hero Club will be discontinued on 24 November 2026 at 12:00 PM. You can continue to log in to Credit Hero Club and view your credit report until 12:00 PM Hong Kong time on that date. After that, Credit Hero Club will no longer be accessible.
2. Why is MoneyHero discontinuing Credit Hero Club?
After careful consideration, we have decided to focus our efforts and resources on other products and services that allow us to better serve our customers.
3. Is MoneyHero shutting down?
No. Only Credit Hero Club is being discontinued. MoneyHero will continue to operate as usual, and you can keep using our website to compare and apply for financial products.
4. Will Credit Hero Club return in the future?
There are currently no plans to bring back Credit Hero Club.
Your Credit Report
5. Can I still check my credit report before the service ends?
Yes. You can continue to log in and view your credit report as usual until 12:00 PM Hong Kong time on 24 November 2026.
6. Can I view or download my past credit reports?
No. Past credit reports are not available to view or download through Credit Hero Club. Each report was retrieved directly from TransUnion when you viewed it, and MoneyHero did not retain a copy.
As a result, there are no past reports available to view or download. If you would like to view your latest available report through Credit Hero Club, please do so before 24 November 2026.
7. How can I check my credit report after Credit Hero Club closes?
You can obtain your credit report directly from TransUnion. Please visit the TransUnion Hong Kong website for more details.
Your Data and Account
8. What happens to my data?
MoneyHero does not store your credit reports. The personal details you provided when you registered, such as your name and email address, form part of your MoneyHero account and will continue to be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. The closure of Credit Hero Club does not affect the credit data maintained by TransUnion.
9. Do I need to contact TransUnion to delete my data?
You do not need to contact TransUnion solely because Credit Hero Club is closing. Your credit data will continue to be maintained by TransUnion, the appointed credit reference agency under Credit Data Smart (CDS), independently of Credit Hero Club.
If you have questions about the data TransUnion holds about you or wish to make a data-related request, please contact TransUnion directly.
10. Will this delete my MoneyHero account?
No. Your MoneyHero account will remain active. You can continue to use MoneyHero to compare and apply for financial products and access eligible rewards.
11. Does this affect my product applications or rewards?
No. The closure of Credit Hero Club does not affect your product applications or reward eligibility. The applicable application requirements and reward terms and conditions continue to apply.
12. I would like to delete my MoneyHero account. How can I do this?
Please email creditheroclub@support.moneyhero.com.hk to request deletion of your MoneyHero account.
13. Will MoneyHero continue to offer financial tools and guides?
Absolutely! You can continue to find guides, tools, and product comparisons on the MoneyHero website. Follow us on our social channels to stay up to date on our latest offerings:
